The browser extension
Your tours, without typing them in.
Realsee will not let an outside server ask for your tours on your behalf. So dotpano does not ask. The extension reads the dashboard you are already signed in to, on your own computer, and sends what it finds to your workspace.
How it works
Pair it once. Then it is one press.
Nothing of dotpano's runs on a provider's page until you click the button. There is no content script sitting on your dashboard waiting.
Pair it
In dotpano, open Connections and generate an eight-character code. Type it into the extension. It works once and lasts ten minutes.
Open your dashboard
Sign in to Realsee as you normally would and open your space list. The extension reads what is on that page and nothing else.
Press import
Reading and importing are one press. The popup reports what it added, what it updated and anything it could not read.
What it touches
It fills blanks. It does not overwrite your work.
What comes across
The tour's name, its address, its link, Realsee's own identifier for it, when hosting started, when it runs out, and whether Realsee says it is live.
What it never touches
The client you filed a tour under, what you charge them, and a term end you typed yourself. An import can add what a tour was missing; it cannot empty a field you filled in.
It never sees your password
It reads a page you already have open. It holds no Realsee session and never asks for one. It does not watch what you browse — it runs when you press the button, on the tab you are looking at.
Importing twice is safe
Tours are matched on the platform's own identifier, so running it again updates the tours you have rather than duplicating them. Pairing gives it a token that can add tours and nothing else — it cannot sign in as you or reach your billing.
Browsers
Chrome today. Safari is built and not yet distributed.
The reader is the same on both. What differs is how each browser lets an extension be installed, and Safari's route takes longer than Chrome's.
Chrome, Edge and Brave
Listed on the Chrome Web Store. Install it, pin it, and pair it with a code from your workspace.
Safari
A Safari build exists and imports correctly. Safari carries an extension inside a Mac app rather than on its own, so it is not something you can install from here yet.
Write to us if you want it on a Mac and we will tell you when there is a build to hand you.
What you need
A dotpano account on a paid plan.
Importing is the one thing the Free plan does not do — Free is a public page and ten tours entered by hand. Every paid plan imports, up to the tours that plan tracks.
